As part of this, we are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support cost planning, estimation, and financial management of our store construction and fit-out projects.

Job Summary
Manage project cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and financial evaluation of construction projects, ensuring all works are delivered within budget and aligned with project requirements.
Qualifications
Must be willing to work onsite at our Head Office located along Chino Roces Avenue Extension, Magallanes, Makati City (Preferably residing in Makati or nearby areas).
Preferably available to start ASAP.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
At least 3 years of Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in retail or commercial construction.
Strong knowledge of MEPFS (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Structured Cabling & Security).
Experience in architectural and interior fit-out construction methodologies.
Strong background in cost estimation, tendering, vendor sourcing, and negotiation.
Knowledge of market pricing, labor costs, logistics, and unit rate estimation (NCR and provincial).
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in quantity take-offs (manual and software-based).
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and documentation/reporting tools.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Estimation & Quantity Take-Off
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, bill of quantities (BOQ), and cost estimates based on architectural and MEPFS drawings.
Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements for new, renovated, or expansion stores.
Estimate material, labor, and project costs across architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and fit-out works.
Perform value engineering to meet budget requirements without compromising quality.
Bid Management & Vendor Coordination
Prepare and manage bid/tender packages for contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Conduct bid evaluation, tabulation, and comparative analysis of proposals.
Clarify bid queries and lead negotiation with vendors to achieve cost efficiency.
Source and evaluate vendors and contractors for project requirements.
Cost Monitoring & Project Control
Track project costs, variations, and site changes throughout the construction period.
Prepare cost comparison reports (contract vs actual vs variation works).
Evaluate and validate variation costs in coordination with project and construction teams.
Maintain updated records of market pricing and project cost benchmarks.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare project cost reports, summaries, and post-project analysis.
Ensure proper documentation of all cost-related activities and approvals.
Support project teams in financial planning and budget alignment.
