Assistant Manager, Talent Acquisition
About the Role
We are hiring an Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition who will help strengthen our workforce by leading end-to-end hiring for our growing organization. This role focuses on building strong talent pipelines, improving recruitment processes, and supporting the company’s expansion in the lifestyle and optical retail industry.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
Manage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing, screening, interviews, to job offer.
Develop targeted sourcing strategies suitable for high-volume, technical, and customer-facing roles.
Build and maintain talent pools for future hiring needs.
Work closely with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and role expectations.
Monitor recruitment metrics and generate accurate hiring dashboards and reports.
Workforce Planning & Talent Pipeline Management
Support manpower planning initiatives and provide insights based on hiring trends.
Assist in talent reviews, succession discussions, and career development initiatives where needed.
Employer Branding & Candidate Experience
Support employer branding projects and recruitment campaigns promoting Vision Express as a top employer in the optical and lifestyle industry.
Elevate the candidate experience by ensuring efficient, consistent, and professional processes.
HR Operations & Compliance
Ensure all recruitment activities follow internal policies and labor standards.
Recommend improvements in hiring policies, documentation, and overall recruitment workflow.
Coordinate with HR counterparts to ensure smooth onboarding of new hires.
Qualifications
Must be willing to work onsite at our Head Office located along Chino Roces Avenue Extension, Magallanes, Makati City.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related fields.
At least 5-8 years of proven experience in Recruitment or Talent Acquisition.
Background in retail, lifestyle, optical, or high-volume hiring is an advantage.
Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
Proficient in HRIS, ATS tools, Excel, and other HR systems.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle fast-paced hiring needs.
